Melody? NOW you know about atheletes ....
being 'really pumping'? My veins pop up like that when I am really hydrated and doing something 'active' [a loosely defined term differing for those of us who have PN and other fun things?]
They disappear when I am either inactive or dehydrated. Plain and simple?
I don't know if it's tied to Blood pressure or not, as I don't have a BP machine home access....
I really wouldn't worry unless you are getting a headache or other pains tho? With your diabetes so well under control the only thing I'd think could happen is IF you forgot to take a med or the like...
As one who gets infusions regulary, and blood tests? Hoppin Poppin veins make those who treat us VERY HAPPY! I like my health care staffers HAPPY! They are the ones who really take care of us! Hugs - j
PS Hobie - VERY GOOD PUN!
