I am happy for you that you got a new puppy!
When we name pets, we let the new arrival set the pace.
Almost always the name comes from watching the animal interact with the
environment and the people in it.
I like names with more than one syllable because I tend to baby talk to them.
(I know that is silly, but I do). Also since we have 3 cats, I try to pick names that sound very different when calling. She-ba, Tip-py, Or-E-O. I assume they find our language difficult, so I try to make it easier for them. I have a "call" for Tippy, that is very silly sounding, and when I do it Oreo comes anyway. So, for much for that theory! LOL.
Enjoy your new pup! Sounds like lots of fun!
