It sounds like your friend needs surgery. I never heard of insurance that won't pay for decompression to be done. I don't know about this DRX 9000 Spinal Decompression. I ran it thru Google and it sounds like it isn't surgery. If it cost $4000 it should be. Maybe thats why insurance woudn't pay. I really never heard of it.

I have had the decompression surgery though. It does take time to heal and with small children it would be hard, I'm sure. Maybe she needs to see another surgeon and get a second opinion. Sorry I can't be of more help! Good Luck.
