I'm an oldie (from the days BEFORE Brain Talk .... maybe when the internet/web was just a baby and Harvard folks moderated things. (And I knew G. Washington personally

)
I'm interested in how folks with one disability ('whatever' - physically-based, i.e., post-polio, some syndrome or....???) also cope with depression (am guessing that depression is both situational as a result of coping w/ a disability, but also biological - maybe gene related - maybe somehow connected to original (physical) disability).
I also appreciate reading about the guidelines here ... maybe it's my own paranoia or whatever, but I have (personally) been rather intimidated by some who have posted on BrainTalk - like if you ask or answer something that Makes Someone Else Upset .... ish.
And I miss all the "old stuff" ..... 'way back when there was some type of art or self-expression forum on the Old Harvard site - it truly felt good to post there as an expression of long-held, pent-up feelings. And pfffffst! it is all gone
