Hi Deb,

You need to get your films and go see a different Neurologist. Get a secod opinion. Make sure you get a bunch of differentials done by your regular GP. You should have them check for vitamin B deficiency, Lymes, thyroid, lupus, reumatoids, and anything else that can cause your symptoms. Even if the MRI results are determined to be lesions, they can be caused by things other than MS.

Also, I had MS symptoms for three years before my lesions showed up on MRI. A clean MRI is not conclusive. It just means you may have to wait until it gets bad enough to see.
