If you don't mind telling us, it would help to know if your age.

Young people in general should not be having circulatory issues, unless they have some vasculitis type autoimmune problem.

I found a medical text on the net explaining this procedure and
potential side effects. There is a warning for people who have diabetes.

The main concern I can see is the increase in free radical oxygen molecules, which themselves have damaging potential. So taking some antioxidants, before hand may be good insurance.
