My mother was a phase IIb patient. At the time of the surgery she could drive, walk, and have relationships with her family and friends. Within months of the surgery she was in a wheelchair, in a nursing home, in restraints due to the immediate onset of severe hallucinations, imbalance, thought disorder and a horrible decline in mobility.
There are also some patients here in this board who were better after spheramine. Sadly, my mother was horribly affected.
