Exclamation Fibro - add'l diagnosis & questionable treatments

Well, my mom made her stop-by to drop off a bunch of articles about magnets, supplements, chiros who can "cure" TOS, etc.,...

So I saw something on Laser Light Therapy and thought I'd look into it.

I suggest the website "Quackwatch.org" for a thorough read if you ever want to see the negative side of any potential treatment. And then make your own decisions.

(Regarding Lase Light Therapy, I found a great article at the bottom under chiro as a gen'l subject and then went into it and found the LLT. Basically, they need to standardize the tolerated dose, determine toxicity, (it throws light on the bloodstream for an immune response idealized for its effect upon joint pain), and its efficacy for various illnesses has not been established to a medically agreed upon standard. It is not covered by Medicare or most insurances.) I am choosing not to spend my money on it.

I found an interesting site by a fibromyalgia Post-doctorate patient - she notes she got ill while typing away and over-working on her dissertaion - I see similarities in her story to the TOS, and she has some good links to discuss slow exercise, helping family understand and other items that might apply to TOS, also. Here is a link to her:

Next, when I can, I am going to see what's new on TOS (if it's there) at the site:

www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus

I don't want to debate any therapy - I do enough of that with my mother and her damned magnets she's always throwing my way - but I thought these sites might be helpful to others, for your own treatment research.
