I am neurogenic TOS, so my outcome and progress are going to be very different.

However, I will share what I was told by my neurologist: "It took you four years to get to surgery, so you've got to allow some time for healing."

I would think your loss of grip would require some PT for assistance. I hope that you get real TOS type PT, as the other types seem to cause more damage than good. Go with your gut instinct, and let us know how things progress.
