His wife and mother-in-law would enjoy what I have to say; I'm not so sure his sons will, however. He used to "prank" them when they were real small - and I doubt that they would remember but it might upset them.

We used to sit on his porch at night, and freezing our beehinds off, and tell one another stories about what we had planned for our "golden years" and for our funerals. It was funny to us, and we had similar ideas .

The other thing he was phenomenal at was his ability to mimic people; he was a quick study and could immitate their mannerism, voice, etc., so perfectly.

I'm thinking, Sue, that what I'll do is write about his sense of humor and how important having such a refined one is in life... and that's one of the aspects that a lot of people will always remember about him - along with having a heart of gold.
