Hi,
I know I am not Liz...but if you don't mind to much, I just had to say....
That I am sorry to hear your husband is having trouble. {Hugs}
When I read your post 1st thing I thought was shunt malfunction, but if I remember right your husband doesn't have a shunt...right? well when my son has to much water on his brain or has a shunt malfunction he can't remember how to answer simple questions, or basic stuff we know he knows how to do, it is a big sign he is in trouble, Austin has had seizures too, but if I were you and this happens any more I would go to the ER, and I would get an appt with the neurosurgeon (NS) right away since it has happen. I know with some cysts they wait to place a shunt, and that is understandable, but if it is causing mental break downs or seizures there is something not right and it needs to be addressed right away, I would get a 2nd NS opinion and a new MRI on this whole matter, it has been progressing slowing and this sounds to this old Mom's opinion to be a red flag that something needs to be done. Keep us updated Well wishes to you both
Love
Deborah
