I know headaches are very common, however, they can be caused from a whole slew of things, including your medications. Were you recently diagnosed with Lyme after 5-6 years? Did you receive any antibiotic treatment during that time?

I'd think since your problems are mainly just headaches (do they turn into migraines?) and are bad enough to call for pain medications. You should look into seeing a Neurologist and try to get a MRI or a SPECT scan. From my understanding, if you do get a SPECT scan you'd need the person performing/reading to know the (neuro) damage that can be caused by Lyme to avoid being misdiagnosed. I'm not too sure on how the readings go for a MRI, but I do know similar lesions to MS show up which can also lead to an unfortunate misdiagnoses.

Are you having any neck pain or stiffness or pain in your back?

Hope you feel better soon!
