Hi Stan.
I don't know about that kind of side effect with Paxil. In fact, Paxil is one of those AD's that is supposed to help with pain. I did note on side effects of Paxil paresthesia is included, but I think that is a skin sensation, such as burning, prickling, itching, or tingling, with no apparent physical cause.
At least you've come to a caring and supportive community, and I hope you find some answers!
Past Paxil user myself! I was on Paxil for years and wanted to get off. I was anxiously awaiting the arrival of Cymbalta (touted to help with fibromyalgia). I went through hell getting off Paxil. My doctor said he had several patients he had to help get off Paxil, but I was his worst case. It took me several months to completely get off of it. I ended up using the liquid Paxil and going down just 1 mg. per week. Otherwise, 'normal' tapering was sending me into a horrible tailspin with awful symptoms and a general feeling of losing my mind!
You should speak with a doctor, I think, about your situation. You should be checked for whatever is causing the sensation in your feet.
Best wishes.
