Thank you very much for asking this question.
I have wondered myself about this. I have been out of the workforce for over 4 years and i'm concerned of what i will say to prospective employers when i finally get out there. I also don't want to lie about my situation, but i want to get hired too. That being said, i think that what i would say is "i was out of work because of a medical condition, but i feel that i'm better now and more than ready to get back to work. I'm still under my doctors care and he agrees that i'm ready to get back to work".
I don't know what to say after that. I hope someone else have a good idea.
