mari..you're a woman. you want to look good. your saying " And yet my hair is gray and depressing." hit me. i know how i feel when my hair sucks. bad hair days make for bad days. why? i'm not sure. but if i look in the mirror and my makeup is great...clothes...not having a fat day ...and my hair sucks...UGH!

if you don't feel up to going to have your hair done...what about getting a semi-permanent color? one that will wash out in a few weeks and then go get it done? there are many good brands. they are gentle and really condition your hair. makes it all shiney.

is your checking account set up for auto bill pay? for small bills, this works great. might help to take some stress off. i have my telephone bill set up that way. i have just basic phone service. no long distance, so it's the exact same amount each month. i get the heebie jeegies at bill paying time too. we were pretty darn close to being homeless this last july. lost our home, but by the lord's grace we found a place.
