Heart taking me a while to make the rounds...

what a mess of stress.

want to tell you i'm here for you too. sorry you are having such a difficult time right now. i Do hope next week is better (you never know? lol)

good luck with the new meds, the thyroid meds for your boy and the valium for You. my ex-pdoc said i was subclinical hypothyroid and treated me first with t4 and then with both t3 and t4. the effect was almost immediate. since i am not technically hypothyroid there was only temporary improvement since my body would gradually adjust its own t4 production to compensate for the supplement and it was square 1 again, lol, but with my tsh dropping out. my internist was furious at my pdoc. but true hypothyroid is another ball game. gosh i can't seem to get a word out straight without running on. the point was i think you will see a rapid effect, based on my experience. make sure he takes the supplement exactly as directed. for example, i had to take it first thing in the morning and not put anything else down the gullet for an hour.

You... can you take a 5 minute break per hour at work to do... anything but work... (you know, a break). for candy... ok maybe not that... sugar bad. go outside/terrace, or just stare blankly at the wall (i'm really short on ideas here, but you get the idea, aww heck, the gist)... like... detach once an hour? would that help? maybe you already do that.
