I had the same thoughts given what I know about hydrogen peroxide. Guess it wouldn't hurt to try it just once at least to see what happens. But I don't think it's something that could be used on a regular basis without causing other problems with the skin. It 'eats' good tissue as well as bad tissue.
And I can't for the life of me figure out just how HP would affect PN pain! Curious though....
