Default Hi Nemesischick some quick info

Hi Nemesischick hope this helps

Nothing beats Blue-green algae when it comes to de-detoxifying the body of metals, I've got a rare form of coeliac disease (celiac) and I've been there and got the teeshirt, here's a few facts about Blue-green algae. I thought you might want to know about.

Blue-green algae
Blue green algae evolved over 3.5 billion years ago as the first successful life form on earth. A number of blue-green algae are widely available in supplement form, such as chlorella, spirulina and aphanizomenon.

Benefits
Blue-green algae are a rich whole-food source of over 100 synergistic and easily assimilated nutrients including antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, enzymes, essential fatty acids, essential (non-essential) amino acids, iron, chlorophyll, protein and other protective substances. As the basis for the development of life on earth, algae are one of the most easily assimilable foods for the human body. The proteins found in algae, for example, are in the form of glyco-proteins – the necessary form for us to absorb and utilize – rather than lipoproteins found in most other protein food sources.
Gram for gram, blue-green algae are the richest natural source of beta carotene, which protects against cell damage and ageing. Chlorella also contain a unique Chlorella Growth Factor (CGF) that has been found to act as an energy concentrate, immune enhancer, and tissue repair enhancer. Substances extracted from blue-green algae have effects on laboratory that suggest they may help to prevent cancer, diabetes, coronary heart disease, degenerative disease and absorb toxic chemicals such as heavy metals and radiation.
Algae have a chelating action in the body which means they can bind to harmful toxins in the digestive tract (e.g heavy metals) and help remove them from your body. The blue phytochemical, phycocyanin, found in spirulina for example, has a powerful detoxifying action helping to reduce kidney damage due to heavy metals such as mercury. When toxins such as PCB, mercury copper, lead and cadmium are added to yeast cultures, cells start to die. If chlorella is added too, the yeast cells survive. Algae have an ability to absorb and neutralize toxins – they can even bind uranium.
The purest and most potent wild blue-green algae will only thrive in clean, unpolluted fresh water. Blue-green algae found in supplements are either derived from natural, unpolluted lakes, or are farmed in huge, alkaline, man made lakes in places such as the Californian desert.
