I did also post this on the arthritis forum but again want to mention here how much the topical methyl salicylate in those Salonpas pain patches are helping me. So much so that I certainly dont feel the need to take the mobic at this time ....and also those salonpas patches are so much more economical than the other arthritis ones I saw, so very thankful for that info mrsD .

I am relieved to have found another option to the med for now. Along with the patches I am taking MSM/glucosamine and turmeric/curcumin
plus my omega 3 so hoping to keep the inflammation and pain controlled that way for as long as I can.
