Dear Mrs. Bear.
you know your body best, but
Valium (nor other benzos) should NOT give you any tummy trouble, they do not favour internal bleeding etc. you
might, particularly with higher doses, experience some nausea which however is related to the nervous system and not to gastroenteric issues. Nausea is a possibility with many CNS depressants.
btw, i don't eat in the morning either. my stomach wakes up much later than i do.

i have a variety of benzos, one regular, 3 others as needed. i can take any on an empty, very empty stomach (and mine is delicate). none of my 4 inserts give warnings for patients with history of ulcer, nor does RxList for Valium:
RxList - Valium Contraindications
RxList - Valium Side Effects and Interactions
Sooo... you might
try the morning Valium despite the empty stomach -
perhaps first double check with your GP or gastroenterologist, since i am not a doc, just a benzohead. upon their confirmation, you might be able at least to
start your day out "calmer"
~ waves ~ waving away the stressss?
p.s. I have missed you too.
