I know apple pie, is big here[UK],,,,have you heard of CRUMBLE'S?, Any fruit filling you desire, then make short crust pastry mix[add sugar] dont form a dough ball just sprinkle crumgs over fruit and bake....Add Custard..

Steamed puddings the most famous being ...wait for it and please dont laugh it realy is called this Spotted ****..[ dried fruit based sponge cake. made with suet pastry, and steamed ]
What about Bakewell Tart, yummyyyyyy....Almondieee, spongeeee filling , with pastry base... and icing type top.........Baked cooking apples[peeled and cored, filled with sweet mince meat wraped in puff pastry served with huge amounts of fresh cream..
