I am in Australia too and I agree the fact that the alternative uses of drugs like Neurontin and Lyrica should be recognised by the government and the price adjusted accordingly.
I was wondering where abouts in Australia you are? I have screamed out for amputation so often but my team are very firm that it is a "no go".
Interesting to note that you have found it fairly successful.
