There is a young girl at our church with cJuvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis who had been accepted into the program for her illness. Just before she was to go to Washington State, she became ill with an unknown bacterial infection and lost her toes and fingers. Her family was holding out hope for her by letting her participate in the surgery. She was the only child accepted.
