For your cracked tongue, you might want to try brushing your teeth with Vince powder. I don't know why, but it helps tremendously with the mouth sores. I was thinking that my tongue was cracked when I used this last. It might be worth trying...

You can get the pharmacist to order some. It is non-prescription and about $5.00. I get Tom Thumb grocery pharmacy to order it, but I think other pharmacies can get it. It is not usually something kept on hand.
