Default Sleep schedule and weird cortisol levels

Hi,
My dr of chinese medicine had me do a take home cortisol test. Essentially I had to take a saliva swab ever few hours from 7:00 am to midnight and then send it off to a lab the next day.

She called me with the results last night.
Apparently, normal cortisol levels are highest in the morning and then gradually go down during the course of the day. Mine are the opposite -- low at 7:00 am and high when they should be low.

This is not a big surprise because I sleep in the day. While I was doing the test, I had to keep setting my alarm to get up and do the swab. I'm not sure yet -- until I talk to her again -- what insights we learned.

Except she did say that this explains why I feel sooooo groggy when I wake up.

I think that hubby is grinding his teeth at night. He told me he has jaw pain when he eats breakfast. I'm a bit worried.
