Hi Sally,

Prozac is a fizzle med that drops off over time as to its effectiveness.

I replace Prozac with 40mg a day of Paxil about two years ago and it has made a real positive difference in my life. I've felt better on Paxil then I ever did on Prozac and don't have the anxiety problem or side effects.

You may want to check it out with your PCP.
