Why not ask a doctor? SOMEone must be on call for your doc, whoever that is! What about the local MDS you mentioned? Call someone! Don't take no for an answer! Is there another PWP in the area? Go to www.parkinson.org and find out about the support groups in the area.

Mary..I agree that Jaye is absolutely right..You need the advise of a professional..If you are uncomfortable with the ER, which is completely understandable, then call a Neuro or MDS and explain your situation
