There are a few people like that (I was one of them). Even so, getting a diagnosis of MS can't be seen as good news.

I was one of them, too. I was more afraid of MS than brain tumors, though, probably because I know two people with benign tumors that seem unaffected. I knew absolutely nothing about MS. I guess that even with issues as serious as tumors and MS, the unknown is always scarier.
