Hi Everyone
Thanks for all the support and encouragment. I must have been more worn out then I'd imagined. Thursday afternoon I took a 3 hour nap and then slept 12 hours that night. Last night I was up til 3 am and up at 10 am, so I must be caught up. My back still aches, but I'm going to have to try some type of support garment as suggested. It should be just the ticket, as it is my uppper back that is the problem.
I will try the Aleve, but don't hold out much hope. I used to get some relief from Wellbutrin
(took for 4 years) until 2002 when I had a grand mal siezure, and dislocated my shoulder somehow. Nothing was detected in testing so it was blamed on the Wellbutrin and I've suffered greatly since. I had a mild siezure in 2006 after starting Methotrexate 7mg. So I was tested and taken off that med.
I've been going to all kinds of docs these last few weeks and went to see a Neuro about getting off Trileptal. Seems that the siezures are a component of MS for some (including me). I've got a leison on my left side of my brain, that has slowed my right side and shows up abnormal in an EEG for years. It was both reassuring and scary to be told that. I did get the dosage reduced from 5-150mg daily to 4 tabs. Woo Hoo.
I am more disabled in my arms and hands compared to my legs. I guess it's good, but I sure don't want the legs to go downhill, then where will I be.
Anybody else have siezures with their MS?
Thanks for being here
