Hi, I am female, and a retired special education teacher. I have had Trigeminal Neuralgia since 2004. I had to go on disability from my school the last 2 months of the school year. I suffered from chronic pain and all the pain medications just made me sicker, plus they didn't alleviate much of the pain. I've had the MVD cranial surgery, almost died after surgery from complications. I developed Occipital Neuralgia around the surgery site. I went off all pain meds 4 months ago because I was concerned about all the toxins I was putting through my liver and I decided to tough it out. I took Benedryl to help me sleep without pain. Then I found information about the Blair Technique Chiropractic practice on-line and went to a Chiropractor who uses this technique, 6 weeks later the Occipital pain is gone and the pain from the TN has lessened. I no longer have the stabbing, electrifying shocks I used to experience. The only med I take now for pain is Cymbalta for my Fibromyalgia, that's it. I hope everyone on here has the same good fortune as I have had and gets well soon. Jancy
