Default Gotta love it!

Hi, I'm featherme -mainly because there are times when a feather hurts and there are times when I don't feel a feather!

I don't have the right diagnosis - things remain a mystery to docs. I've been told I have peripheral neuropathy, autonomic neuropathy, maybe CMT , spinal stenosis - what I do have is a lot of pain! I have been on crutches for almost two years as I have fallen so often I messed my feet and ankles up badly.

Have been on cymbalta and lyrica - they helped to a point and then it was as though they turned on me - suicidal thoughts and the other blurred vision and laryngeal edema.

I have had most tests and most are abnormal. I haven't had a nerve or muscle biopsy. Do they help nail a problem?

I also have a form of dystonia as well as myoclonic jerks somewhat contained with klonopin. Then there are the PVMs that according to one report I read "make me dumb and walk funny".

I like to crochet and garden and play scrabble on line. I'm a disabled elementary school teacher with four grown children and four grandchildren with one on the way. I've been married 37 years - a miracle I'm sure. I love the Lord and, while things get crazy at times, I know my Rock and cling with desperation and hope for a better future.

I'm looking forward to learning a lot from you all.
