Hi,
I leave out the cabbage and simplify:
-store bought boxed/canned veggie or chicken broth (lowish salt if you can find it)
-a Table spoon or two of tomato paste
-carrots
-onions
-green beans
-zuchini
Then I sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top to serve.
Back in the old days, I used to measure
2/3 cup cottage cheese (or whatever number of points I wanted) into a bowl and pour the soup over it to get protein.
Ohhh! I never tried it as a hot drink. That is a good idea, Froglady
