The Pharmacist will let you have some lithium -- a few days worth at least.
And lithium is as cheap and as old as dirt. It's not a big deal to pay for it.

When I went off lithium I was the highest I have ever been. But it was an ugly high, totally mixed with anxiety. I was wild. And not happy.

Try to keep the lithium going. Waves gives good advice about this stuff.
