Lightbulb from my reading...

It appears that 3 groups of mice were all injected, with the marker compound.

1) the ultrasound group
2) the sham ultrasound group
3) control group with no ultrasound or sham

So all of the mice were injected...and only the ultrasound group showed
neuronal migration errors. They would all have to be injected, in order to
compare them to each other.

This may be a rodent issue..and not applicable to humans...only primate studies
can clarify that.

But you know, when I had my son, ultrasounds were only done, for medical reasons. I had no idea they were in shopping malls now, with non medical people doing them just for the sake of having a picture for a photo album.
