I'm going to follow up and see if I can see him.
The big thing about Dr O from today's visit, is that he was intent upon operating upon my films, and making them look correct, and never asked about my pain. When I asked him about epidurals, he said they would never work for me, as I have back pain, not sciatic.
But he's wrong. My pain is butt and leg, and hip; only with bending. It's way worse than the "back" per se. When I told him that he looked shocked, but didn't actually take it in. He didn't examine me.
So the only thing I know I'm going to do for sure is get the myelogram. If it turns out there's something else there that's causing the pain, that's the only way we're going to know. MRIs don't show much with all the instrumentation in place.
At least this is my undrstanding. But I do feel thrown into crisis mode again, and I have to get out of it.
