thunder92,

Whenever I have headaches in my temples it's usually caused by my tmj disorder-temporal mandibular joint disorder-the joint connecting your upper jaw to the lower jaw. This is caused by clenching or grinding your teeth at night. Over time the cartilage will be worn away and inflammation sets in. I have been treated with codeine and steroid packs for this it is so bad at times, along with muscle relaxants.
I don't know if I should consider this a good thing or not but I can now assimilate my different types of headaches and remind myself how to treat them. Migraines in the center of forehead-blood pressure high, temples-TMJ, and back of head where it meets the neck-occipital headaches caused by our demon, TOS.
Hope you can get some answers on your doctor visit Friday...
