Aussie, the whole ordeal you went through is enough to upset most people's emotional state, even though the tramadol is probably well gone by now, the shock of being treated so badly does take a while to forget, well not forget really but becomes less important as time goes by as other important things seem to pop up and it becomes less of a priority.
I know i was real angry the way they left me for so long too, i had a go at the complaints department of the hospital not long after, they had all the excuses under the sun, which sounded to me like it was all bull, but i felt better after telling them how slack they really were and my pet gets quicker medical attention than any casualty patient at their hospital [ they had only one GP working in casualty all night too ], in a large regional hospital which is disgraceful in my book.
I hope you are feeling better soon.
take care.
Brian
