Thumbs up mmmmm craniosacral.... :)

I have had cranio-sacral from a massage therapist who did trigger point type work, and my PT who is osteopathic based. The trigger point type was not so impressed with, but I did have some good results from.

THe osteopathic type...fantastic. she would sort of moosh around your whole head, moving the plates of your skull ever so slightly, releasing the dura where it is stuck, great stuff...REALLY helped me with headaches after surgery that I am sure were from muscle tightness...you know, neck trying to hold itself up without a few of the normal muscles and all...

i also have TMJ like pains a lot, and it was helpful for that.

i woudl imagine it is practitioner specific. I would look for an osteopath who performs it, personally.
