Hi Paula,

I requested my primary care doctor to do a test to check for any problems with my parathyroid, not just my thyroid. The test came back with extremely high calcium count and a high pth level in my blood. The endocrinologist I saw was very thourough and said he wished he had seen me sooner. He found a marble sized hard lump in my thyroid gland that was biopsied the following day and did a complete blood workup and a 24 hour urine collection to test. Will find out the results on Thursday.
