I am sorry your Dad is going through a hard time. Is your father just diagnosed, or did he just start meds. It is sort of hard to answer. Is your Dad vented and maybe just started treatments. Anything that caused the worsening. Myasthenia can cause this. I cannot type too much right now but with crises usually the treatment is plasmapheresis, Ivig, being placed on a vent to let the muscles rest.There are other treatments also.
