I have 4 children. They now are 17, 15, 12 and 5. When I was diagnosed I had 3 young children and it was very difficult. It is not only physical but mental. Please try to find a way to take care of yourself or you will not be any good to anyone. Maybe there is another way to earn a living that is less strenous.

I do not know the health care in Canada but please find someone to listen to you. My surgery was in 2000. It took 1 year for pain to go away. Unfortunately, I reinjured myself last year and have been working on getting better. Don't beleive that this is it for life. That is what I thought. Since my surgery,I had a beautiful daughter who is 5 and the love of the whole family. Nothing is impossible. Think positive and see if maybe there is something, or someone else who can help. Linda
