for many people it is an 8hr deal. This came out postmarketing.. and is quite common. I think it has to do with GI transit time, and the way the tablets are made. Most doctors are aware of this. And you should report it to the doctor.
Tell him what is good about it first...that is does work, for example...and then
tell him it is wearing off before 12 hrs is up.

She was mismanaged on methadone and that was the problem. Methadone when started too high (to match the previous Oxy dosage) can cause cardiac arrhythmias in certain genetically prone people.
