Default Interesting

Mrs. D,
I had never run into the iontophresis before just recently. The pain doc the ortho sent me to prescribed iontophresis along with ultrasound, elec. stim etc. No one could tell me if it was going to affect my bones. I had two treatments and then stopped it because I was afraid it would damage my already fragile bones.

I'm thinking about putting the salonpas patches on my ankle. We're having to put a brace on the left one. It aches all the time. But I'm wondering if the salonpas will be too much with the indomethacin. Seems like everything affects something else.

Thanks for the article. In reading it, it seems that using less current for a longer period of time will do more good than using it for a short period with more intense current. Just the opposite of the way it was given to me.

Billye
