I can't speak to fibromyalgia empirically because I don't have it. However, I do have Major Depressive Disorder, full bore, and Cymbalta at 120 mg. took care of it. However, this is also twice the normal maximum adult dosage and it brought with it all the nasty side effect that I had switched to Cymbalta from Paxil to avoid. So I went back to Paxil and then switced to another SSRI that does the job within normal dosage parameters and with lesser side effects.
