Oh Roxie.
You are having such a time of it aren't you??
Last night on tv, they did a segment on chronic pain. The end result was...the doctor on the tv said 'if you have chronic pain, you should definitely try, yoga, meditation and deep breathing.
Now I have no idea if you have ever tried these things. Perhaps they release endorphins in your brain??
Might be worth a shot.
