My husband (about 7 or 8 years ago), was put Elavil (to help with his neuropathy at bedtime). It did the trick beautifully BUT IT MADE HIM ITCH LIKE CRAZY. He has allergy problems with many meds.

But it took away his pain 100%. Too bad he had to scratch like crazy.

What's the expression? One man's (what??) is another man's poison??
