We have both a Sony Plasma and a Sharp Aquos LCD.

IN the last few years Sony has dipped a bit in quality but brand name and preception has overidden that.

Pioneer is the best high end TV.

KNow that Samsung makes all the glass for the majority of all TVs made.

I have a brand new Samsung in my office and its fantastic!
