You mentioned that you are losing the weight that you put on due to the prednisone. I've been taking it for nearly a year now to help control the polymyalgia and of course have suffered the inevitable added pounds. I thought that since it didn't increase my appetite (rather the opposite) I would escape the gain but that isn't so. How long after you stopped taking the prednisone were you able to reverse the weight? I do hope to get off the stuff eventually but it may be a while and I sure hate to see this happening. Kind of a double whammy since the tn drugs also caused a gain. I don't get many good anwers from my doctor who kind of shrugs, like how should she know.
