I also had meningitis when I was only two weeks old. It caused me to have hydrocephalus and the doctors didn't find it until I was 22. I had severe headaches, vomiting and nausea for a lot of my life. Finally when I was 22, they xrayed my head. They still believe that although they found it late, the damage was done at two weeks old.
I use to have severe headaches and call me crazy, but I accidentally discovered that when I gave a pint of blood, at the Red Cross, my headaches would disappear for about six weeks. I think I have give over two gallons of blood. I am now 51 and I had a VP shunt put in my head at 34. I feel great.
Maybe you escaped having brain damage from the meninigitis, but it wouldn't hurt to have yourself checked out.
