Interesting article, Carolyn. This is scary stuff!

I was exposed to TCE when I worked as an PCB assembler and technician during the early to late 1980s. We would wash the PC Boards off after soldering in the capacitors and large voltage regulators.

Later on, as a technician, I would dip keyboards into vats of this stuff to clean the circuits off or brush it on to the boards to clean off the flux where I hand soldered replacement parts.
